When the marble house in a Hollywood movie studio was built in the early 1900s, Hollywood stars were required to wear the original marble floors.
But now, the marble has faded.
The new marble floors are all different colors, but the marble that once covered the house is now just as faded, a sign that the house’s original marble was not as sturdy as the modern marble.
The marble house was designed by architect Charles E. Brown and was built by architect Harry D. Jacobs.
It was built for his wife, Clara, and her son, Harry Jr., and featured a marble bathtub.
While many of the houses in the Hollywood Studios movie palace are in good condition, the Marble Canyon marble house is not.
Its marble flooring is now a bright pink and has been cleaned to a certain extent.
Even with its bright pink marble, the house still is very much a work in progress.
