The Dolphins will sign Matt Jones to a one-year deal worth $15.5 million, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Jones had a career year in 2016.
The Dolphins released the veteran last year and then re-signed him on a one year deal worth less than $4 million.
Jones, 30, has spent his entire NFL career with the Dolphins.
Jones was drafted in the fourth round in 2009 and spent two seasons with Miami.
He was released in 2013.
Jones has played in 10 games in four seasons with the Giants.
The former third round pick has spent parts of four NFL seasons with Tampa Bay and New York.
